MT2’s ECOBOND® technologies have been applied at indoor and outdoor ranges in all stages of operations, from maintenance at active ranges to closure of ranges and remediation of sites impacted by past activities. MT2’s firing range maintenance/closure services, lead recovery services, and technologies are applicable at all pistol, rifle, trap, skeet, and sporting clays ranges for private and public facilities, law enforcement (local and state) and military and government sites (Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, FBI, CIA, ATF), among others.


Recovery and Recycling of Shot and Bullets:

Physical treatment recovers particulate metal and unspent ammunition. The removal of the particulate metal results in a dramatic reduction in both total and leachable levels for the heavy metals most commonly involved with munitions. For sites where the soil contains appreciable amounts of debris, rock, gravel, and sand, physical treatment can significantly reduce the overall volume of soil requiring residual treatment and/or disposal for these adsorbed contaminants, thereby reducing total project cost. In addition, since contaminants are physically removed, long-term monitoring and associated liabilities are eliminated.

Chemical Treatment: Lead dust and particulates found at indoor and outdoor ranges are converted into environmentally safe and non-hazardous material through the application of ECOBOND® additives. ECOBOND® has been successfully deployed at numerous operating and historical sites to solve lead environmental hazards.
